You! O LORD, our God, are the fill of our bones and our marrow. For we are flesh of Your flesh, and bones of Your bones. In You alone, we live and move and have our being.

Let us never know the abject poverty of a heart that is empty of Your love; or of a mind not filled with Your Word and Your thoughts; or of hands and feet that know not Your ways; or of a life lived apart from You; or the abject poverty of eyes that have never beheld the beauty of Your face!

For Your face, alone, is what we shall seek!

Lead us, therefore Father, in the way everlasting. That we may be made known the ways of life. For then we shall know the fullness of joy that is Your presence. For then we shall see that which we seek, which is the everlasting love of Your glorious face!

For now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1 John 3:1-3).
