Faith is a kingdom principle. And it’s the operation by which we are approved by God. For without faith, we cannot please God. It’s the operation of the spirit by which we apprehend the substance and the nature of God. For God is Spirit. Without faith, we move not in the realm of the spirit. It’s by faith that the Spirit moves upon the waters of man.

     So when the word of God says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, what is the word of God actually saying? It is saying that faith is a fruit of the Spriit. For is the word of Christ not Spirit? Jesus says that the words that proceed from My mouth are Spirit, and they are life. So if hearing is from the word of Christ, hearing is when the word of Christ that is Spirit moves upon the waters of the spirit of man. And as the spirit of man then hears from the Spirit of the word of God, faith is conceived. And it gives birth to life. The word of God is therefore a spiritual seed that produces life. Which it does by producing faith. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing from the word of God. Just like when a seed falls to the earth (man), and the ground (heart of man) receives it (or hears), that it then produces life.

     So if we want our faith to grow, what do we need to do? We need to turn to every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and hear.

    “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” ‭(‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬)
