A GLASS HALF EMPTY II
CONTINUED FROM PART I...
For, in fact, are they not “in bondage” to a belief system that exalts itself above the true and rightful knowledge of God? Because it claims itself to be true. And not the Word of God. Which is the lie and the bondage of believing unto a God “of two”. With the Holy Spirit being “the forgotten God.” Which is to live and walk permanently according to a theology that is always “a glass half empty”.
But as Joshua said, “as for me and my household”, we love and serve the living God “of three”, not two. Being a complete God. Being the God of the Father, the Son AND the Holy Spirit. Which is a glass full of God. Which is not possible without the Spirit. For does the Word not clearly instruct us to be “FILLED with the Spirit”? (Ephesians 5:18).
Which, in the context of Ephesians 5:18, is a “constant and ongoing and continuous infilling”. Thereby revealing that for those of a theology that does not actively and willingly embrace the Holy Spirit, or drink from the bottomless well of the good wine of the Holy Spirit, that the glass of their theology is in a constant state of always being half empty. For theirs is the theology of “the forgotten God”. Being the forgotten God of the Holy Spirit that lives and moves according to the will of the Father to fill the cup of our vessel to overflowing with the revelation and the knowledge of God until all the rooms of our house “are filled with rare and precious gifts”. (Proverbs 24:4).
For all those who deny the ministry of the Holy Spirit, being the member of “the living God of Three” who even the Father and the Son hold in highest regard and reverence — for the Father and Son declare, decree and proclaim very plainly that whilst it is okay to blaspheme the Father and the Son, thou shalt not blaspheme the Holy Spirit — those who deny the office of the Helper who Jesus declared He will send, are those who not only quench the Holy Spirit, and who grieve the Holy Spirit, but they are those who then REJECT the Spirit, as well as the gift of Jesus. And who ultimately skate very close to blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
For if the twisting and constricting coils of the serpent of “the prince of the air” can slowly starve a person of all manner of unction of the Holy Spirit, has he not effectively removed all the “power of life” from you? For is it not written: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you”? (Acts 1:8). And does the Word not also say that it is the Holy Spirit who “opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures”? (Luke 24:45). “And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.” (Job 43:8).
For in Romans 8:14, the word is clear that “the sons of God” are those who are “led by the Spirit”. Which also means that if we are led by anything else, then we are not sons of God. For do we not read in 2 Corinthians 13:14 that our God is a God of three persons? “The grace of the LORD Jesus Christ (1), and the love of God (2), and the communion of the Holy Spirit (3) be with you all.” Without the communion of the Holy Spirit (relationship), how can those who call themselves “sons of God” legitimately satisfy the imperative and mandate of Romans 8:14? For how can the sons of God be led by a lifeless or dead Holy Spirit? For if they resist and reject the Holy Spirit, are they, in fact, then sons? For what spirit then are they led by?
And whilst it may seem obvious that in all things we are to follow “the example of Jesus”, it is clear that the religious spirit that holds a great many in the body of Christ in bondage to a deism, and captive to a truth that falls way short of the liberty and glory of God, that such a bondage holds many to an entirely contrary and “different example”. Which effectively also means that they live by an entirely “different gospel” from the gospel that speaks plainly that it is to our much needed advantage and benefit that the Helper comes. (John 16:7).
For in the example of Jesus, did Jesus not very plainly say, I do nothing unless the Father tells me? “For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.“ (John 6:38). “For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.” (John 12:49). “So Jesus replied, "Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does.” (John 5:19). Which is a lifestyle example of being led by the counsel and the might of the Holy Spirit. For is it not written: “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” (Matthew 4:1). Without the Holy Spirit, what would the testimony and ministry of Jesus then amounted to?
When Jesus healed the man at the well of Bethesda, He healed only one. There were many. But He only healed those who His Father told Him to heal. Because He lived to do one thing and one thing only. Which is to do the will of His Father. If you are not lead by the Holy Spirit, how can you know or do the will of the Father? How can you know which one it is the season and time for their particular harvest? If you pick a fruit too soon, or too late, of what good is that?
The LORD clearly says, “To EVERY THING, there is a season, and A TIME to every purpose under the heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Jesus life demonstrated this perfectly. Jesus ministry lasted for 3 and half years. That’s the season. The season is the DURATION. But unless He was led by the Spirit, He would not know the TIMING. The TIME was at age 30, not before, not after. And the timing provides both the start and end dates of that season.
In other words, shooting out the starting gates too soon is as bad as carrying on longer than you should. Those who rush off sowing where the Lord doesn’t lead them to sow, are those who scatter rather than gather. “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” (Matthew 12:30). They are also those who live by a works-based righteousness. Jesus only did what His Father told Him to do. Which is what a son is. Which is one who is lead by the Spirit.
A son ministers and gives witness when the Spirit leads him to do so. For to everything under heaven, there is a season and a time. Those who gate crash God’s timeline not only hurt the kingdom, but also hurt those who are destined for the kingdom. Because to God, timing is everything. Which is evident by Jesus, once again, who knew all along that He was to die on the Cross, but yet He said many times, “now is not the time”. Even His death was at the express TIMING of His Father. Which unless you are led by the Spirit, you would not know.
So for those who deny the Holy Spirit, those who unknowingly and inadvertently serve the agenda of the Leviathan spirit, which is the religious spirit sent to intimidate and derail, which is sent to coerce you into doing things in your own timing, they will never know the seasons or the times, for they are not led by the Holy Spirit. Choose for yourself this day who you will serve. But as for me and my household, we shall serve the LORD, which is the God of Three. Which is the God of the Father, the Son, AND the Holy Spirit.
Our dependency is, and always will, be on THREE, as it is in the natural. The breathe of life, the bread of life, the water of life. In the natural, we are dependent on the same three. Air, bread, water. And just as in the natural where we can only appropriate air, food and water through the blood, in the spiritual, we can only appropriate the breathe of life, the bread of life, and the water of life through the Blood. It’s a God of THREE, and a living God, the only God. Not the God of two.
“It will come about after this
That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.
Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Joel 2:28-29
The church is in labour. And it’s water will break when the Holy Spirit releases it into its destiny. Joel 2:28-28 speaks plainly of the coming of the latter rain of the majestic and sumptuous outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these end times.
And for those who seek not to partake of the latter rain of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.” (Matthew 23:27).
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
