God says "To every thing there is a SEASON, and a TIME to every purpose under the heaven." - ECCLESIASTES 3:1. And of the times and the seasons, BOTH belong ENTIRELY to God (DANIEL 2:21). In Scripture, times and seasons are determined by the MASTER CLOCK in the sky. "And God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and for years." - GENESIS 1:14. In other words, EVERYTHING works towards a MASTER PLAN. And at the same time, that master plan works in precise lock-step with the times and seasons of the MASTER CLOCK.

      And of the MASTER PLAN, God says that it is the WISE who SHALL "understand" (DANIEL 12:9-10). Those who are wise WILL be given to understand the finer details of the timing of prophesied events at the appropriate time, which is shortly BEFORE they occur. And of the coming of that one Day where all of the seasons, and all of time, will all coalesce into the simultaneous fulfillment of the Master Plan, God tells us plainly that there will be SIGNS, "But take heed to yourselves, LEST your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, AND that Day come on you UNEXPECTEDLY" - LUKE 24:36. "For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT." - 1 THESSALONIANS 5:2. And as we approach the coming of that Day, this is now the TIME, and this is now the SEASON, of both BLESSINGS and of SHAKINGS.

     "For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. “‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.””

     “And again the word of the LORD came to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying, “Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying: ‘I will shake heaven and earth. I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots And those who ride in them; The horses and their riders shall come down, Every one by the sword of his brother. ‘In that day,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the LORD, ‘and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,’ says the LORD of hosts.””

     In these last days, HAGGAI plainly tells us firstly that the LORD of hosts is going to shake "the world and the nations". It also tells us that God is simultaneously raising up His "last days church". And of this church, “the glory of this latter day temple shall be greater than the former”. The great scales are being monumentally shifted. On the one hand, the kingdom of modern Babylon and the kingdom of nations will be brought down to size by the right hand of God. On the other hand, by that same right hand, by the Spirit that blows where it will (JOHN 3:8), this last days church is going to bring in THE GREATEST HARVEST of souls the world has ever seen. A sowing and a reaping. Seed time and harvest. This time and this season is going to move in the power of the Holy Spirit like it hasn't been seen since Pentecost.

      And "God's latter house of living stones shall be known as A HOUSE ON FIRE" (Pieter Kirstein). This is so that it can be prophetically fulfilled that in these last days 'greater works than these he (the last days church) will do" - JOHN 14:12. It is this same power that moves like the wind that blows "where it wills, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell from where it came, and where it goes" - JOHN 3:8 that will likewise also shake heaven and earth, and “overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms” - HAGGAI 2:22.

      At the same time, this is a time and a season for blessings. God simultaneously provides encouragement. In HAGGAI 2:6-9, whilst God is giving Zerubbabel encouragement and hope, Haggai's prophecy is God's word of encouragement and hope to all of us in His last days church. "And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

     Zerubbabel was the governor of the small province of Judah that contained land extending 25km from Jerusalem. JERUSALEM means “City of Peace”. For us, in the last days church, the church will be our Jerusalem, our "City of Peace." And for the world and all the nations that God will shake, because of its peace in the midst of the shaking, it shall be the "Desire of All Nations".

      In these last days, Jesus is establishing an even grander temple where "The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts." Whereas Zerubbabel as GOVERNOR of physical Jerusalem, is “chosen” for a unique and noble purpose, the noble purpose of Jesus as GOVERNOR of spiritual Jerusalem is to "fill this temple with glory." Which means this spiritual Jerusalem will be an even greater temple, one where Jesus will lead the righteous "in never-ending worship".

      Through God’s signet ring, Zerubbabel is given a place of HONOUR and AUTHORITY. By the authority and honour of God’s “SIGNET RING,” Zerubbabel becomes a picture of the future Messiah, Jesus Christ, who will establish His people in the Promised Land, construct an even grander temple (ZECHARIAH 6:12-13), and lead the righteous "in never-ending worship".

      In THIS season and THIS time, on the subject of "signet rings" and "governors", God is giving governmental authority and anointing, "a signet ring" to open doors that none shall shut, and close doors that none shall open. "And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open." - ISAIAH 22:22. This is the governmental authority to shake kingdoms and nations, to shut doors that none shall open. It is also the governmental anointing that will open the door that none will shut that is the government of the Holy Spirit of the new Jerusalem that is the last days church.

      There is no higher power and authority than that bestowed by God's signet ring. "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come" - EPHESIANS 1:19-21. The authority that is far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named is the power that can and will shake the world and the nations, and heaven and earth.

      The shaking up of the world will be due to the sovereign decree, ““The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts.”. For it is silver and gold that moves the world and the nations. And just like 30 pieces of the world’s silver financed the early church, God is going to use the silver and gold of the world to finance the move of God upon the hearts and needs of all who belong to the kingdom of His latter day temple. “But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.” – JOSHUA 6:19.

      And for the world and the nations He shakes, they shall come to the Desire of the Nations, which is He who holds the "signet ring" of authority to the peace that surpasses all understanding, which is the hope and the peace that is the new Jerusalem, the "City of Peace." And instead of silver and gold moving the world and the nations, it will be LOVE.

And because of this LOVE, "All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name." - PSALM 86:9
