As God lives,

Like manna, is the taste of Your companionship!

Like wafers with honey, is the truth of Your counsel!

Like wine from water, is the steadfastness of Your love!

 

Sweet Lord of my Lord,

Counsel us all in the secret place of the inner man,

For it is in our innermost being,

That You desire truth.

And it is in our hidden part,

That You make us to know wisdom.

 

Precious God of my God,

Lead us all in the way,

That is the truth and the life of love everlasting,

That perfect love,

May have its perfect way, IN us.

And produce its perfect work, THROUGH us.

 

Faithful God, Most High,

The only true God,

Renew our inner man each day, anew and afresh,

For it is the hidden person of the heart,

With the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit,

Which is precious in the sight of You, great God.

 

Merciful God of all grace, our loving God,

Through Your Spirit of wisdom, and of understanding,

And Your Spirit of counsel, and of might,

And Your Spirit of the knowledge, and the fear of the LORD,

Make known Your WAYS to us, LORD.

Make known Your TRUTH to us, LORD.

Make known Your LIFE to us, LORD.

 

Oh awesome and great God, the God of all peace,

We seek only those things that are above,

That we may become the exact nature and likeness of that which we behold.

That the Spirit of the LORD may rest upon us, without measure.

And that the nature of the LORD may dwell within us, in its fullness and entirety.

 

ABBA Father, sovereign and righteous LORD, our strength and our shield,

The desire of our inner man,

Is to be the very radiance of Your glory,

And the exact representation of Your nature,

Sustaining all things in us and through us by Your powerful word.

For You are before all things, and in You all things consist.

 

For, most loving God of all the earth,

The blessed and only ruler,

Has it not been said that what we behold is what we shall become?

And is it not to You alone that we look?

Seeking Your face, and Your face only?

That we may bring the Ark of the Covenant to dwell within us, the living temple of the living God?

Shall the living Word not, then, become in us flesh?

Sustaining all things in us by Your powerful word?

 

For, most Holy One, God of all heaven, It is to You, on Your high hill, that we look.

Both by day, and by night.

Forever seeking the kingdom of God and Your righteousness,

That we may no longer be a slave in a foreign land, to a foreign way, and to a foreign house.

But instead, be those who sit at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Dwelling in the precious room of Your Father’s house,

A room You have personally prepared before time for each and every one of us.

 

Oh loving God, the God of our Father,

Make known Your ways TO us.

And make known Your nature IN us.

And make known Your will THROUGH us.

That, like wine from water,

Your NAME may be hallowed in us,

That Your KINGDOM may come in us,

That Your WILL may be done in us, on earth as it is in heaven.

 

For thine is the kingdom,

The power,

And the glory,

Forever and ever, Amen
