REPENTANCE - RESSURECTION REVISITED

For it is through repentance that we then get to speak life into dead bones too.

Whilst the word "repentance" is rightfully shrouded in the process "of contrition", at the same time, it should be noted that repentance actually also simultaneously lauds the "majestic power of God" made richly manifest in our lives. As such, in the final analysis, repentance is really a "truly JOYOUS occasion", a moment to celebrate the majesty of the Father with all of heaven and earth. Repentance ushers in the simply miraculous. It ignites the torch that consumes all that is darkness with beautiful light. It breathes that very same "first breath", the one the Father used to stand up the dust that is man, into the lungs of relationship with the Father, and into the life of circumstances and situations.

And in the glory of God made manifest through the "Big Bang" moment of repentance, repentance invokes the spirit of Ezekiel in all of us. For it is through repentance that we then get to speak life into dead bones too. And of the new life that is subsequently resurrected from those ashes, rather than a restoration simply unto the old likeness and nature, repentance is unto the miraculous birthing of the glorious second nature. This second nature is apprehended OUTWARDLY, within those circumstances and situations, and INWARDLY, within the heart and spirit of man. And of the "sinews and flesh", and the "skin and breath" that thereby manifest as the newness of life upon those erstwhile lifeless bones, it is the JOY of the new creation that manifests. It is one made not in the image and likeness of the old, but one made wholly anew in the image and likeness of Christ! Oh joyful crown of repentance! Call me by name! Long live the King of kings!

“Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.” ’ ”” - EZEKIEL‬ ‭37:4-6‬

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." 1 TIMOTHY 1:17
