For all those enslaved to the condition of a broken heart,

May the Lord our God and Father restore to you your wholeness.

May He heal your heart, and your mind, and your soul.

May He give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

May He lead you to the waters of life where you may drink your fill and be satisfied.

May He unbreak the brokenness.

May He call into existence all that is life and joy and peace.

May He break the chains that encumber you to your grief.

May our Father in heaven, the God of all the universe, sever every soul tie and demolish every thought and pretension and stronghold that enslaves you to heartbreak.

May He give you strength as you weep, and joy as you lean forward unto tomorrow.

For He IS a God and a Father who cares for the broken-hearted.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." (PSALM 147:3).
