THEY SHALL BE A PEOPLE FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS

The book of Joel speaks of a generation of people that there has never been the likes of before, nor ever shall be after it. Which is a generation of people, who in God’s own words, will be a great and powerful people. Which are a chosen vessel of people distinct from and differentiated from the servant realm. Being the manifested sons of God versus the servants of God.

“a great and strong people; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, through the years of many generations.”

Joel 2:2

And of this great and powerful group of people, “their greatness” is not a greatness that is the greatness according to the yardstick and determination of the world. Which is a greatness that is becoming unto pride. Their greatness lies in their total humility, surrender, submission and separation unto the rule, the authority and the headship of their King. Being those who, like their great and royal Leader before them, have made themselves of “no reputation”. For their only desire is that HIS name be hallowed — in all things, and at all times. That HIS kingdom may come — in all its glory and majesty. And that HIS will may be done on earth, as it is in heaven — as it should.

For of a generation of people who, in total humility, have surrendered, submitted and separated themselves unto God, being those who are least, has it not been said: “But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.” (Matthew 19:30). And has it not been written: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you.” (1 Peter 5:6). Being all those who have willingly made themselves of no reputation, so that the name of God alone may be exalted, not only in ALL the earth, but that in ALL the skies and heavens, it may be seen as a name emboldened in neon lights, who in due time, the hand of God shall exalt.

And of this great and powerful group of people, “their power” shall lie in the nature of the power that is “perfect love made flesh”. For is love not “all powerful”? For is God not love? And is God not all-powerful? Is perfect love not a love that cannot fail? Which is a powerful and mighty love? For does the word of God not rightly and truthfully say: “Love never fails”? And that love “always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”? (1 Corinthians 13:7-8).

For this will be an extraordinary generation of great and powerful people who are not only “servants of God”, being servants of the kingdom and the will of God, but they will be “sons and daughters”, meaning they are like Father like son. Being the “very radiance of His glory” and the “exact likeness of His being” (Hebrews 1:3). Being those who have died to self so fully, that all they know of is how to live and walk in HIS “divine nature and eternal power”. Which is the nature and power of “perfect love”. Which is to have taken on themselves the nature of His righteousness, and out of that nature, the fruits of righteousness. Being those who “live and move and have their entire being” in seeing that which GOD DESIRES coming to pass.

And truly and rightly, of this generation of people, it has been said: “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” (1 John 1:3). But a time is coming, and is coming soon, when the whole world shall know of them. For they shall be a great and strong people that there has never been the likes of before, nor shall there ever be the likes of after, through the years of many generations.

For they are the generation of great and powerful sons and daughters who the Lord was referring to when He said that they are for SIGNS AND WONDERS in Israel: “Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel." (Isaiah 8:18). Which are all those sons and daughters within whom Jesus has BOUND UP HIS TESTIMONY and who have been sealed up with His law, a law sealed upon their hearts and their minds: "Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples." (Isaiah 8:16).
