Oh great Father in heaven

When I hear Your Spirit speak

May I hear it without spot or wrinkle.

For is it not written that we do not need anyone to teach us, for You Yourself will teach us all things?

“And you, the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But just as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, you shall abide in Him.” (1 John 2:27).

And when we speak of what we hear

And of what You teach us and counsel us

May the words that our lips then speak

Be without blemish or spot or wrinkle.

And when we follow in the way You lead us

May our ways likewise also be

Without blemish or spot or wrinkle.

For is it not written:

“Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:25-27‬).

May we be a church that is not only glorious, but holy,

Both in spirit and in truth,

That in all our ways and all our words,

We may both live and walk in the Spirit entirely without blemish, having no spot or wrinkle,

But in every way, being a holy nation and a royal priesthood.
