"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." - Galatians 5:25

A PIONEERING SPIRIT

"Be not hearers of the Word only, but doers." - James 1:22

"And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation, but as it is written: “To whom He was not announced, they shall see; And those who have not heard shall understand.””

‭‭- Romans‬ ‭15:20-21‬

LORD, our God, the everlasting Creator of all the ends of earth (Isaiah 40:38), the Maker of the heavens and earth, the sea and everything in them, forever the guardian of truth (Psalm 146:6), and the God and Father of the father of all nations (Genesis 17:4), peace and blessings we bring to You.

LORD, in Your infinite wisdom, You have decided and determined that the "number seven" be the number of perfection and completion (both physically and spiritually). And LORD, at the same time, ALL of Your Word is likewise perfect and complete. And yet, in the midst of this foundation, You still permit some scriptures to stand up and stand out as "additional emphasis" of that "perfection and completion". One such scripture is Matthew 7:7. On the one hand, not only is it Your Word, and therefore, in itself, both a perfect scripture and a complete Word, but Matthew 7:7 is simultaneously, on the other hand, also a function of the "number seven", and furthermore yet, even a "double expression" of the number seven, and to boot, a "mirror expression" of the number seven too, all at the very same time!

In that the number seven represents perfection and completion, both physically and spiritually, one will have arrived at that desired end state at some point in time when the completion and perfection we then see in "the physical" reflects in parallel exactly what is also evident in "the spiritual". Like Matthew 7:7, they become "the mirror image" of each other, and hence, as a function of doubles, they become an "accentuated emphasis" of perfection and completion. Being an exact mirror reflection of what is perfect and complete in THE PHYSICAL (the point of one of the sevens) and thereby resembling identically that which is likewise perfect and complete in THE SPIRITUAL (the point of the second seven), our lives ultimately become a simultaneous punctuation mark and exclamation mark of God's completion and perfection.

In Matthew 7:7, Your Word tells us that if we "seek", we shall find. If we "ask", it shall be given unto us. And if we "knock", it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7 tells us "the process" by which You will perfect and complete all that which concerns us, both physically and spiritually. And of that process, Your Word assures us all that it is You who will perfect and complete all that which concerns us (Psalm 138:8). When it comes to completing and perfecting the physical and the spiritual in us, Your Word also assures us again (in 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24) that it is You who is faithful to do it. "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you THROUGH AND THROUGH (physically and spiritually). May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (physically and spiritually). The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it." In doubling up its assurance, and in reinforcing through repetition its covenant to us all, Your Word again accentuates its emphasis of perfecting and completing all that which concerns us.

So, LORD, we now "knock" on the door of ministry. We "seek" the wisdom and authority and gifting to walk and live in that ministry. We "ask" that by the decree of Your word, being that which has all authority over all things (Matthew 28:18), being the word of the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not (Romans 4:17), that You bless us and anoint us with a "PIONEERING SPIRIT". That we build not only upon another man's foundation (Romans 15:20), but that through Your pioneering spirit, we may EXTEND the good name of the Lord to where it may yet remain still unannounced (Romans 15:21). By the authority, and might, and wisdom of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, through Your commissioning of a pioneering heart and spirit, may we take by "the VIOLENCE of an unadulterated TRUTH", and by "the FORCE of an all-conquering LOVE", ALL that which needs to come into Your barns and storehouse. And for all the VIOLENCE the kingdom has suffered, and for all that has been taken from it by FORCE (Matthew 11:12), we ask that You equip us with the pioneering spirit of Your Son, to both apprehend and redeem, and restore and reclaim, for our Father, like His Son before us, every lost soul, and every last sheep that has gone astray. Let our words not be the words of man, but may they be the words of God alone, words forged exclusively upon the anvil of God's wisdom, words formed entirely in the belly of the mouth and the mind and the Spirit of God Himself. This we ask so that the ears and hearts upon which Your Words then land, then hear every word with the brilliance of a tuning fork's clarity. And upon their landing, and their hearing, that in the soul of each and every word, they may then hear the call of liberty, a complete and perfect liberty authentically pronounced from the very throne room of heaven, with the "accentuated emphasis" of complete truth and perfect love. This we ask and pray, and thank You for, in the holy and hallowed name of Your Son Jesus, amen and amen.

It is for this reason, that God stands up the twin sevens of our side-by-side physical and spiritual completion when He says, "Be not hearers of the Word only, but doers." (James 1:22). When we are both hearers and doers of the perfect and complete Word, our own physical and spiritual perfection and completion will become "the image and likeness of Him". And this is why He also says, "if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." (Galatians 5:25). There needs to be integrity between the two halves that make up our whole, and between us and our Father, so that we may be as one, just like the Son is one with the Father (John 17:21). And only when there is this integrity, this mirror image, this seven looking into the eyes of its identical twin, will there ultimately be "perfect completion" and "complete perfection".

- To God alone be all the glory, forever and ever. Amen and amen.

- Blessings
