Words are entirely and thoroughly indispensable to all that has become, and is, the voice of God expressed through the mouthpiece of man!

LIVING "AUTHENTICALLY" - PART 4: "THE FATHER OF ALL LIES"

"For it is the Word that always has the final say. And so it has been from the very beginning. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” - JOHN ‭1:1‬

Words are entirely and thoroughly indispensable to all that has become, and is, the voice of God expressed through the mouthpiece of man. And it is by those same words, so breathed, that God lovingly continues His written promise and heart-felt declaration to "never leave you, nor forsake you". For this express reason, we are to faithfully consider, as utmost and sovereign, the supreme sanctity of all our words. When it comes to the high calling of safeguarding and preserving the integrity and purpose of words, this unending imperative becomes a grand labour of love, and a fiery stand against any mutinous uprising of word and argument that fails to live up to the high standard of integrity and truth, and the chief pursuit of love. "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." - 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5.

For those who may possibly not fully appreciate this great emblematic quest, these few words are a sobering reminder (should they ever be needed): "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgement.” - MATTHEW 12:36. At the same time, when it comes to holding words supreme and dear, neither should we ever feel inclined to possibly forget that words are, in fact, the very substance and evidence of every name written, and likewise not written, in the "Lamb's Book of Life". For we are reminded that, "Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven." - LUKE 10:20. It is the very presence of those identical words, standing up upon the pages of that heavenly repository, that in the end will ultimately spare us, and then usher us into the next chapter and verse of the eternal expression and accomplishment of the Word.

Words are entirely and thoroughly indispensable to all that has become, and is, the voice of God expressed through the mouthpiece of man.

At the same time, Luke 10:20 reminds us that "the spirits are subject to us." Has anyone yet a spirit in their hands ever yet held? How is it to be that we are yet able to subject the spirits? Be it by the comparable might of our arm? Or by the advanced weight of our fist? How else, then, other than by the command and authority of words themselves, are the spirits yet subject to us? Words are the secret counsel of the Most High, and the public declaration of His authority over all power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Words are the very evidence of Jesus' power above every principality, and authority, and power, and dominion (Ephesians 1:21). It is the words of "the Word" announcing "IT IS DONE" that through them, it is so that "having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross." -COLOSSIANS 2:15.

For it is also, for this reason, that God says in 1 CORINTHIANS 6:10 that, "nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." There are other Bible translations that refer to revilers and swindlers as "those who practice profanity." Profanity is the essence of everything vulgar and common. It is the hallmark of every word characterised by contempt and irreverence for God and the sacred office of His gift of the written and spoken word. Such is the inheritance of those who pollute and corrupt the integrity and purpose of words to abuse (revile) or deal falsely (swindle). REVELATION 21:27 says, "there shall in no wise enter into it (heaven) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

God has created words to capture and communicate the essence and integrity of His Spirit and life (which is truth), through words that are likewise spirit and life. The devil is known to be the exact opposite of God. In keeping with this distinction, whereas God is hailed as the "Father of all Truth", in contrast, the devil is referred to as "the father of all lies" (JOHN 8:44). And for those who share the devil's misuse of words, God has these words to say, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

The devil will do everything in his power to debase and corrupt the purpose and sanctity of words. Profanity is his brain child. We honour his creation when we substitute the noble word as God ordained it with the vulgar word as the devil profaned it. He has turned every ounce of his entrepreneurial genius into standing up the exact opposite, or better yet, the perfect counterfeit, of everything God stands for as the lucid monument to impeccable truth. God presents as "the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit". The devil, in turn, presents "the beast, the false prophet and the antichrist." God uses words to put truth on display. The devil uses words to put lies on display. Of paramount importance to the devil is to parade his pompous counterfeit of the truth, by using words for the exact opposite of God's noble purpose - to deceive, destroy and to lie.

We honour the devil's creation when we substitute the noble word as God ordained it, with the vulgar word as the devil profaned it.

It's also not by chance that when it comes to the expression of "the trinity", we always rightfully lead with "the Father", for all glory and honour and reverence belong to Him. At the same time, it is also equally fitting that in the order of the trinity, that His Son, Jesus, takes centre stage. For "Jesus" is the way, the truth and the life. As the truth, Jesus the Word, rightfully takes centre stage, right between the Father, the "author", and the Holy Spirit, the "finisher" of our faith. Our faith is premised on "the way and the truth and the life" of words. Faith depends explicitly on truth, which is why "the truth" takes centre stage between the "author" of our faith (the Father) and "finisher" of our faith (the Holy Spirit). On the same note, who then takes centre stage of the counterfeit trinity? The "false prophet". So firstly, "false" explains that it is the opposite of truth. It is the bipolar counterfeit. It is none other than the consummate lie. At the same time, whereas Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, when it comes to the false prophet, unlike Jesus, the true prophet, the lie is NOT "the way", the lie is NOT "the truth", and the lie is NOT "the life".

But secondly, and this loops right back to our anchor scripture of "Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophecy" - 1 CORINTHIANS 14:1. "False" relates to "prophet" in the same way "truth" relates to "prophet". In God's virtuous model, it is compulsory that a prophet speaks nothing but the uncompromising truth. "Truth" and "prophet" are synonymous. These two words are the interchangeable substitute for "Jesus". So as one "called" to be a prophet, whether subsequently being "chosen" to be a prophet is based on the intense personal appreciation for and solemn devotion to the imperative that every word we speak be "the way, the truth and the life". And in keeping with this, it's only when we exclusively eat the refined and choice fruit from the Tree of Life, will a prophet called become a prophet chosen.

And in the Holy trinity, just like the Holy Spirit is the Helper, the antichrist is to do exactly the opposite. To thwart and confuse and deceive and depress, with lies. And in the same way that Christ means "He who saves", the antichrist is "he who does the opposite". For he only comes to steal, kill and destroy. Through lies, the devil steals and kills and destroys "the way, the truth and the life", so that in doing so, in turn he steals, kills and destroys salvation. And finally, then, he who places the lie at centre stage, instead of the truth, therefore perverting the very integrity and purpose of words, so too can one such as he NEVER be called "the Father". As in the unholy trinity, the only fitting word remaining for one such as this, is quite truthfully, none other than "THE BEAST".

For it is the Word that always has the final say. And so it has been from the very beginning. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” - JOHN ‭1:1‬.

- To God be all the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
