WORSE THAN AN INFIDEL
God is good. God gave me a word yesterday.
"Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." - 1 Timothy 5:8.
I believe God was telling me that this also applies to Him as our Father. We are His own. We are His immediate family. God would not hold us accountable for what He doesn't hold Himself accountable for first. We are of His household. He has gone before us to prepare a place for us in His Father's home.
"My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" - 1 John 14:2.
We are of His household. There is no possibility EVER of Jesus being worse than an unbeliever.
I read on the plane last night this scripture. “Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.” - John 9:41.
It is only those who need Jesus i.e. those who admit they are blind that He covers with His righteousness. Those who don't need Him remain in their sin. When we need Him, He is there for us. And I have come to acknowledge and know and understand that I am COMPLETELY dependent on Him. I need Him whether I am in righteousness or sin. I NEED my Father! I cannot get through a day let alone a minute without Him!
- To God be all the glory, forever and ever, amen and amen.
- God's richest blessings on all who are of His household, of all who are invited, but have not yet come in.
