THE FALSE BRIDE?

At 3:15 in the morning, the LORD woke me up. As I waited on the LORD to reveal to me why He summonsed me awake, I began to read an article I had saved earlier. It was about the origins of the word "Vatican". And as I began to read this article, the LORD suddenly drew me away from the words on the page and brought to my remembrance PROVERBS 2:16-19.

"16 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words,
17 who has left the partner of her youth
and ignored the covenant she made before God.
18 Surely her house leads down to death
and her paths to the spirits of the dead.
19 None who go to her return
or attain the paths of life."

- PROVERBS 2:16-19 -

In doing so, one of the things the LORD revealed to me is that whilst Proverbs is chiefly a didactic anthology of Godly wisdom, it is also at times deeply prophetic. A proverb is a word that is "put forward". A prophetic word is a word that is put forward that "comes to pass". At the same time, "a verb" is a doing word. In other words, it "comes to pass". If you disassemble the word "proverb", it appears to be a combination of pro and verb. A proverb is a doing word that is put forward. And in it being put forward, it is SPIRIT. And in it being a doing word, or a word that comes to pass, so too is it LIFE (JOHN 6:63).

In that sense, ALL of God's Word is prophetic because it is ALL spirit and it is ALL life (JOHN 6:63). It is alive and active (HEBREWS 4:12). It never returns void (ISAIAH 55:11). It ALWAYS comes to pass (EZEKIEL 12:25). In that sense, ALL of God's Word is a doing word, a word put forward, a word that comes to pass (JEREMIAH 1:12). In fact, in as much as LOVE is also a "doing word", making the word "love" a verb, all of God's Word is a double verb. For it is LOVE "IN ACTION". "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 JOHN 4:8).

Additionally, the LORD showed me that PROVERBS 2:16-19 is also a very specific prophetic word. It is referring to the false church of the end times. Just as the true church is the true bride of Christ, the false church is the false bride. She is in fact "a harlot". A false church is referred to as a harlot, for many go into her. And as many as go into her, her house leads down to death. As the scripture says, none that go into her return or attain the paths of life.

PROVERBS 2 is a prophecy about those who will be misled by the false church, the harlot. It is a prophetic "doing word" of the false church spoken of in REVELATION 17, the counterfeit of the true church spoken of in REVELATION 12.

"... and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, "BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered greatly. And the angel said to me, "Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns."

- REVELATION 17:5-7 -

The scripture refers to the harlot being drunk "with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus". This tells us that it is "saints" who fall prey to her deceit. And the cost of that deception is the blood of those saints. It is the blood of those who are witnesses unto Jesus. And what else is deception other than the persuasion by false statement or argument. For PROVERBS 2 specifically tells us that she is a seductress who flatters with her words. "To deliver you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words,” - PROVERBS‬ ‭2:16‬. It is by "her words" that she "puts forward" that she will lead many into deception and death.

The dictionary has two meanings for deception:

1. to mislead or falsely persuade others; practice deceit: an engaging manner that easily deceives.
2. to be unfaithful to (one's spouse or lover)

What does Proverbs 2:17 say? "who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God."

So both of these definitions apply to the false church. She misleads, AND has been unfaithful to her spouse, Christ. She is a false bride. REVELATION 17:4 goes so far as to actually describe the harlot. "And the woman was arrayed in PURPLE and SCARLET colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication"

Which church has recently declared that they bestow upon their priests the authority to forgive abortion? Since when does MAN decide what is right and wrong? This is the sin of eating of the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is the original sin. Which church head recently declared that there is no difference between the Bible and the Quran? That we all pray to the same God? Which church is now vying for a one-world unified religion? Which church until a few hundred years ago refused to allow the Bible to be possessed by anyone other than by one of its own priests? And which church is dressed in the colours of the harlot in Revelation 17? The Pope wears SCARLET and an Archbishop wears reddish-PURPLE.

I believe the LORD is showing this for a reason. We need to go to war against the principality behind the false church, to the rulers of darkness of the false bride. The way we go to war is in prayer, in fervent intercession.

LORD I humbly ask that you bestow us all with deep love and powerful wisdom in this regard, and the heart and gift of intercession, that we may stand in love and power against the enemy of the true bride of Christ, being that principality that stands in the power of deception behind the false church. Equip us with power and might, and leadership and wisdom, and revelation and understanding, that we may all come against any argument or stronghold or principality that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, Father! And that through this intercession of love, we may set the captives free, both the saints and the witnesses (the congregation and the church priests) and in so doing demonstrate love for You and for our neighbour, the two greatest commandments. This we humbly ask in the hallowed name of Jesus our LORD and our Saviour, amen and amen.

- To God alone be all the glory. Forever and ever. Amen and amen.
