THE BROTHER'S CREED
"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy— "meditate" on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these "do", and the God of peace will be with you.” - PHILIPPIANS 4:8-9
How do we "meditate" on these things (verse 8)? Through "communion with the Father".. How do we "do" these things (verse 9)? Through "community with man". By meditating on them, we "LIVE" in the Spirit. By dong them, we "WALK" in the Spirit. "If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit." GALATIANS 5:25. And for those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the "CHILDREN OF GOD" ROMANS 8:14. And for those who both live and walk in the Spirit, it is they who fulfil the two greatest commandments of all. They love their God with all their heart, and mind, and soul and strength (MEDITATE upon these things, and live in the Spirit). And it is they who love their neighbour as themselves (DO these things, and walk in the Spirit). "And all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" - MATTHEW 23:40.
And for those who live and walk in the fullness of all the Law and the Prophets, of living and walking in the Spirit, being thus led by the Spirit, being the children of the twin mandates of love represented by the embodiment of the two blocks of wood of the Icon of the Cross, being the hallmark of LIVING AUTHENTICALLY, "the God of peace will be with you.” - PHILIPPIANS 4:9.
"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." - 1 TIMOTHY 1:17.
