On the seventh day God rested. Which tells us that God did not rest for even one day until all that He had set out to do was complete and perfect.

In the same way, God will not rest, and His love will not be idle, until He has perfected, confirmed, strengthened and established you.

1 Peter 5:10. “After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.”
