OVERTURN ALL THE TABLES OF DISTRACTION

Our Lord our God, we ask that You come into this “holy tabernacle”, which is “our body”, being the living “temple of the Holy Spirit”, the great city of the living God.

And we ask and pray that you forcefully overturn “EVERY TABLE” in our lives, and in our hearts, and in this tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, which exalts itself against this temple of the Holy Spirit being a “house of prayer”. Which is a house “of intimacy” with the very presence and power of God.

For of our bodies, is it not plainly written, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” (1 Corinthians 6:19).

Let us not rob this house of the “real glory” of being “a house of prayer”. For is prayer not the sacred sugar that sweetens the palate of true fellowship and intimacy?

For is prayer not a invitation for the spiritual to visit upon the natural its most profound impartations? Which are the invisible qualities of the “eternal power” and “divine nature” of He who was, and Who is, and Who is to come?

For does not prayer infuse, inoculate and insulate the physical with the life force and vitality of the Life that created it? And does It not invite into every space inside of us He who is the very “Balm of Gilead”?

So when Jesus overturns the tables in our lives that hold our lives back from fully experiencing this, He does so because He knows that if we don’t get to God, which we will only do if this house becomes a house of prayer, invaluable treasures will be lost, forsaken and forever obscured.

“For mine house shall be called an house of prayer for ALL people.” (ISAIAH 56:7)
