SIGNS AND WONDERS
Dear Father God, our LORD, and King,
I do not know what to say other than I do love You!
My heart is for You, and not against You!
My mind thinks upon you all day long,
And yet there are times when my flesh takes the ascendancy,
And I know not why,
For it is contrary to every desire of my heart!
I seek Your face daily.
I dwell in the rich, green pastures of Your Word.
I water the seed of Your garden with prayer and thanksgiving.
I delight in the ways of my Father in heaven.
I seek the truth that sets me free.
And yet, here I am, being like Paul.
Which is though my spirit be willing, my flesh is weak.
I find no comfort in the knowledge that my flesh is weak.
I seek to overcome the strongman of the flesh.
To dethrone the Pharaoh of my flesh and all his armies of rebellion and stubbornness (1 Samuel 15:23),
That they may be overcome by the Red Sea of the love of Christ,
That I may be washed clean in all my inward parts and in all my ways,
That my crown may wear the helmet of salvation,
And my feet the sandals of preparedness (Ephesians 6:15).
For we are not called to only LIVE in the green pastures of the Spirit of the LORD,
But to also WALK in them (Galatians 5:25).
Which is to produce fruit in the outer court that is the evidence of the Life that dwells in the inner court and the secret place.
Which is to daily walk with signs and wonders following me wherever I go (Matthew 16:17).
Which is the signs and wonders of being daily conformed into the image and likeness of Christ.
Which is the signs and wonders of being transformed into the stature of the maturity of Christ.
Which is to love my Father with all my heart,
And to love my neighbour as myself.
Which is to not be a muddied pool (Proverbs 25:26),
But a witness without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27).
Lead me in the way of love everlasting,
That I may be found to be a son who glorifies His Father in heaven (Exodus 20:12).
By living and walking in the love language of being led by the Spirit,
Which is unto obedience and of a life laid down as a living sacrifice (John 14:15).
For great is the my delight in laying up treasures in heaven (Matthew 16:19-21).
Which are the sweet smelling aromas of prayers of righteousness (2 Corinthians 2:15),
And a heart that is loyal and faithful unto my Father (2 Chronicles 6:19).
Build in me Your tabernacle,
That this land may be healed,
And its sin forgiven!
For there is none like You!
Yes, none like You!
There is only one God, and One Father!
And it's to You that I bow my head,
And incline my heart!
That the light of the Son may come upon me like the beginning of dawn,
Growing unto the fullness of day.
I am Your child.
Speak to the mountains and the valleys,
And all the crooked paths.
That You may remove the mountains of pride,
And the valleys of shame,
And the wicked ways that follow not in Your footsteps.
Open the floodgates of heaven,
That we may see the angels of heaven
Ascending and descending upon all of Your children,
Until we are all one day soon,
The radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of Your being (Hebrews 1:3).
Which will be the day when the signs and wonders of Your eternal power and divine nature in each of us will be complete, lacking nothing.
In Jesus' holy and hallowed name, this we ask and pray and thank You for, for all the lost and all the found, for every son and daughter, and every heart that inclines itself unto the bosom of our Father in heaven, amen and amen.
