UNDER THE VEIL OF THINS UNSEEN
Under the veil of things unseen, matters of great blessing and significance lie still concealed, poised to announce the full glory of God upon all of creation. For is it not written: "Neither eye has seen, nor ear has heard, nor have entered into the hearts of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9).
But even so, is it not written, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”? (Matthew 6:33). Which tells us we are all welcomed and invited to partake of a measure of the splendour and majesty of this great kingdom NOW. Which we can do through the love of redemption. Which is the love offering of being shepherded out of the personal Egypt of our slavery to sin and Satan through the dominion of the Pharoah of our flesh and fallen nature, into the true liberty of the children of God, and united with Him by a gracious covenant available through the Cross into a new and divine nature of righteousness that has real power over the false way and the false truth and the false life of the fallen nature of the flesh.
Which is the step-by-step liberty (for did not those in bondage unto Egypt and its ways have to walk out of that slavery step by step?) that welcomes and meets all those of the kingdom of God and His righteousness as they both live and walk with the law increasingly written, "not as tablets of stone, but in the fleshly tablets of the heart." - Hebrews 10:16; Romans 2:15. As this law writes itself upon our hearts, and comes alive through the revelation of the Spirit, we separate more and more from the world and all its unhealthy lusts. We cleave unto a new and perfect bosom. We betrothe ourselves to a perfect husband. And the cornerstone of that betrothal, as with any marriage, is true love. This is the great invitation to the kingdom of God. To be partakers and inheritors of the unblemished and perfect love of God Himself, which is a love everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3), for all eternity.
And for those who do love Him, both in spirit and in truth, who allow the love of the God their Father to be their foundation, who let this love be both their comprehension and their experience, that same Father promises us all that hidden under the veil of all things unseen, a glory and a joy awaits us all unlike any that has ever been beholden by any heart or mind before.
Oh, that we may then be completely rooted and grounded in this love. For Is this not why Paul prays fervently for all of us that: “14 For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3).
You are MY cup!
You are THE cup!
YOU are the cup from which I drink.
And because it's YOU,
MY cup runneth over!
