HISTORY WRITTEN IN ADVANCE
The manner of the Son's "miraculous birth", which, out of "the whisper of the Spirit", then became flesh, is a forerunner of a further, second miraculous birth, one that will likewise come into being from exactly "the same wellspring of life". This second, and equally astonishing birth, is vividly and poetically prophesied in ISAIAH. For what else is prophesy but HISTORY WRITTEN IN ADVANCE.
Just as with the billions of galaxies surrounding us, the conception and subsequent birth of the Son of He "who was, who is and who is to come, the Almighty" (REVELATION 1:8), remains one of the most striking examples of the power and might of the spoken word of the Spirit. From the very instant it is given flight out of the womb of conception, it is pregnant with power and gives birth to life. And to life ABUNDANTLY (JOHN 10:10). For such is this great quality of being able to call into existence that which doesn't exist (ROMANS 4:17), that the LORD our God specifically speaks of this when He says that the words that I speak are both spirit AND life. "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" (JOHN 6:63).
The miraculous birth of Jesus is one of the perfect illustrations of the foundational principle that it is "the Spirit" that gives life. Which JOHN 6:63 plainly confirms. At the same time, what JOHN 6:63 also tells us is that all that originates out of "the flesh" is NOT life, for it clearly states that "the flesh profits nothing". For it is only LIFE that profits, and the SPIRIT is life. In other words, man can claim no glory for life. And for those who do, it is pure vanity, for outside of God, anything man produces, he produces out of the flesh, which is "not life". Which brings us to the second miraculous birth. In ISAIAH 66:8, the Spirit of God once again speaks of yet another miraculous birth. And it is miraculous for a number of reasons.
"Before she goes into labour,
she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
she delivers a son.
Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen things like this?
Can the earth be made to bring forth in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labour
than she gives birth to her children."
ISAIAH 66:7-8
The first miraculous birth prophesied in ISAIAH 66:7 is a special birth, a miraculous birth. Firstly, it's a miraculous birth because it's a birth that takes place "in reverse order", contrary to the normal order of things. The baby is born BEFORE the woman has labour pains. And then immediately thereafter, in verse 8, Isaiah speaks yet again of the very same miracle once more of a birth without labour pains: "Yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children." In other words, a second miraculous birth without labour pains ensues where Zion gives birth to her children BEFORE going into labour. And who are the children of Zion other than the church of Christ Jesus, the new Israel?
What is also a miracle is that it speaks of a nation that is born instantly. A nation is usually brought into existence by degrees. Its institutions and practice and policy statements are generally matured gradually over time, and usually by the long process of many years of trial and error. But, yet, in an instant, a nation is born. And this is the miracle birth of the nation of the kingdom of God, being brought into existence the instant man's heart and spirit are made new in Christ (EZEKIEL 36:26). For the kingdom of God is the nation of the government of the Holy Spirit, who has at its head the One whose words that He speaks are both spirit AND life, being both the "primordial SPIRIT" and the "patriarchal LIFE".
In what other ways is this a miracle? Without exception, all other pregnancies go through labour pains. For it is the same word that is spirit and life that provided for this universal condition. "To the woman he said, "I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labour you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (GENESIS 3:16). And the reason Jahuah our God made this specific provision is because labour pains are the object lesson and retribution God provided for in women for the role Eve played in the Garden of Eden so as to allow every woman to understand the agony of the intense "labour pains" He suffered in the build up to having to cut the umbilical with His own Son at the Cross. To add to this, the anguish His Son experienced when He cried out "Eli Eli lama sabachthani", that is, 'My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?' (MATTHEW 25:46) are subsequently mirrored in the cries of every child emerging from the womb and having its umbilical severed with its parent. Have you ever wondered why the animal kingdom appears to suffer not during birth? They don't suffer for they did not sin against God or cause the pains He and His Son felt at the separation of the Father from the Son or the pain He and His Son endured at the death of His Son.
So what is the special significance of "a birth WITHOUT labour pains"? It represents a birth where the umbilical will never be separated! The church will never be separated from Jesus. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (ROMANS 8:38-39). Just like the body will never be separated from the Head. Which explains in some dark, perverted way the animosity portrayed by radical Islam against Christianity which involves the cruel beheading of Christians because this practice is representative of the principle assault against Jesus "the Head", first and foremost, just as was the Crucifixion, where He bore all the wrath of the world and pain of the sins of the world, and secondly, it is representative of "the violence the kingdom suffers" (MATTHEW 11:12) in keeping Christ from His flock so that as a body without a head, the souls of His flock may all perish without a Shepherd.
Another aspect of the miracle of the birth of the church of God is that, as with the first birth, which was by miraculous conception, the birth in Isaiah 66:8 is also a birth from a miraculous conception. The second birth (JOHN 3:5) being the birth "not of water" for all those who come unto Christ Jesus, is a miraculous conception through the Holy Spirit, just like for Jesus, being furthermore a miraculous conception that, just like with Jesus again, also continues to "becomes flesh". It's a church that "becomes flesh" only when it doesn't only LIVE in the Spirit, but when it WALKS in the Spirit too (GALATIANS 5:25). THEN, the church is a true miracle too. For then it has truly birthed! And of that season and of that time, NOW is the season and the time for that church to become flesh. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (JOHN 14:12).
Besides the distinction of Jesus' miraculous conception, another distinction that needs to be made about ISAIAH 66:7, is that where 6 is well known to represent man, and 7 is completion or perfection, 667 is the "spiritual antithesis" of 666, being the number that represents the antithesis of the man that is Jesus: "This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666." (REVELATION 13:8). 666 represents the embodiment of all that is man separate from Christ and not born of the Spirit of God.
"Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” REVELATION 12:1-6.
There is a lot of talk that Revelation 12:1-6 is now upon us, and is heralded by the signs and wonders that God foretold He would beginning with the eclipse of the United States commencing on the 23rd of September next month. The place prepared by God for Israel when the antithesis of 667 is birthed in the flesh who now instead of taking out his wrath on Christ at the Crucifixion will take out all his wrath on the sons of Christ instead, will be a place ruled over and reigned by the sovereign might of Jesse's Offspring.
"There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked,” ISAIAH 11:1-4.
"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." 1 TIMOTHY 1:17.
God's richest blessings, now and forever. Amen and amen.
