All that really matters for all of us is the truth. For the TRUTH is the WAY that leads unto LIFE. For doesn’t Jesus say I am the way, and the truth, and the life? I am genuinely and heartfelt only interested in one thing for all of us. For are we not all family? Which is: “What is the truth?”

     Because doesn’t our loving Father promise us that the truth shall SET US FREE? And what I desire more than being right, and trying to prove a point, is to find my brother and myself flying like an eagle on the thermals of that freedom. Which is “the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth” kind of truth so help me God.

     So in sharing this, I am not trying to be right, but am only seeking the truth that will set us free. Which is the truth that paves the way unto life. And life abundantly. That is all that ultimately matters. And only the Holy Spirit can counsel us into that truth. For is it not written that it is the Holy Spirit who will CONVICT us of right from wrong? (John 16:8).

    With that in mind, Corrie ten Boom wrote a letter in 1974 on the rapture. And I refer to Corrie as she was not one for titles and accolades and pomp and ceremony. Her name was not important to her. Only the glory of her Father. And to love her neighbour. She was one of the most humble servants of the LORD to walk this earth. A key excerpt from that letter is this...

     “There are some among us teaching there will be no tribulation, that the Christians will be able to escape all this. These are the false teachers that Jesus was warning us to expect in the latter days. Most of them have little knowledge of what is already going on across the world. I have been in countries where the saints are already suffering terrible persecution.

     In China, the Christians were told, "Don't worry, before the tribulation comes you will be translated – raptured." Then came a terrible persecution. Millions of Christians were tortured to death. Later I heard a Bishop from China say, sadly, “We have failed. We should have made the people strong for persecution, rather than telling them Jesus would come first. Tell the people how to be strong in times of persecution, how to stand when the tribulation comes, – to stand and not faint."

     I feel I have a divine mandate to go and tell the people of this world that it is possible to be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are in training for the tribulation, but more than sixty percent of the Body of Christ across the world has already entered into the tribulation. There is no way to escape it. We are next.”

    Now if there is half a chance that the pre-tribulation rapture is the false teaching that God speaks of that will cause A GREAT FALLING AWAY, the Spirit of the LORD counsels me that above all else, to guard my heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of all life (Proverbs 4:23). For what is of greater concern than who is right, and than anything else, is whether we shall be of those who in the end times are sadly deceived, “even the elect”. (Matthew 24:24).
