Two thousand years ago, a seed was sown. And for the last two thousand years, that seed has been patiently digging its roots in deep, so deep that when all that is the “fullness of that seed” finally breaks the surface of the ground, it will not only be entirely unshakable, unbreakable, unmovable, but when it does emerge, it will STAND, and stand TALL, tall enough to be the “highest of all mountains”. For is it not true that as deep as a seed's roots grow BELOW the ground, then that is as tall as "that which emerges ABOVE the ground" will also be? “In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.” (Isaiah 2:2).

     Just like any farmer who is worth his salt plants his precious seed at "an appointed time", planning way in advance, thinking ahead to the time when "the rainy season comes", being forever mindful of precisely when that seed needs to be planted in order to then bloom and "mature at the right time", and in the right season, patiently looking forward until "that day" somewhere down the line, Jesus planted a seed two thousand years ago, which is His church. And with "long patience", He has been waiting for "the season and the time" of the former and latter rain to bring the precious fruit of that seed into full maturity. “Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain.” (James 5:7).

     For as with any root system, this seed's "life-forming, life-giving and life-sustaining" roots have been digging themselves in deep "for three reasons". Firstly, so that for those who would seek for them (Revelation 3:18), they may find "all the riches" that lie deep below the ground (Proverbs 2:1-5; Isaiah 45:3), being all that will "forever sustain" that which is now above the ground (Matthew 13:44). Which is the deeply visceral call to communion found ensconced in "deep calls unto deep" (Psalm 42:7) and engraved in gold and neon lights in Matthew 22:37. And being "roots" that have been digging themselves in deep for two thousand years, we also know that they go "deeper than any other".

     The other two reasons the roots have been digging themselves in deep is to also ensure that whatever subsequently then emerges out of the covering, and safety and deliberate hiding of "the womb of the earth" (being now fully exposed, out in the open, for all to see), will not only then have the deep tent pegs (Isaiah 54:2) required in order to be able TO STAND in the face of the intense barrage of external weather systems (principalities, powers and rulers of darkness) and opposing elements (persecution, affliction, hostility), but even more importantly, will also be able TO STAND under the "weight of the fruit" that it then bears (the glory). For should the seed somehow emerge prematurely, before the deep roots are fully established, then just like Lucifer, it shall “fall over” under the sheer weight of the glory of God (2 Corinthians 4:17; Psalm 138:5). For it is a weight of pure gold and of silver (Job 22:25), a silver purified seven times (Psalm 12:6).

     The last two thousand years have been the gestation season towards this harvest of maturity, being the woman that is in now in labour, who is now in her last trimester, and who is rapidly approaching the appointed time when her waters will soon break with the "first fruits of the assembly of heaven". "Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” (Revelation 21:9). For since that time, two millennia ago, His church has been establishing its foundations and its roots, waiting to finally emerge as foretold, and to declare itself unto the whole world as "a seven-fold light on a hill" that cannot be hidden. For it is the very essence of the great Morning Star, being that uniquely brilliant spectacle that can be seen by any and all on "the high hill of the sky", whether by day or by night. For where darkness and evil increase, being the ever increasing signs of the times all about us (Jeremiah 8:7), so too shall the light. "And when these things come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh." (Luke 21:28).

     For has it not been foretold in the great book of Revelation that "the woman" (His church) shall be clothed with "the sun"? “Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth.” (Revelation‬ ‭12:1-2‬). Which is to be clothed with "the power" of the sun (glorified body), being the power of "the seed of the Word" who has been made flesh on the inside. Because has it not been said that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world? And is it not also written in the book of Isaiah that in that day when that child is born, being the assembly of first fruits in heaven of that seed planted two thousand years ago (Hebrews 12:23), that the light of the sun shall be "seven times brighter" upon that child? Which is the seven-fold glory of God made manifest upon the countenance of all those who come down from the high mountain of His presence. “Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, And the light of the sun will be SEVENFOLD, As the light of SEVEN days (tribulation), In THE DAY that the LORD binds up the bruise of His people And heals the stroke of their wound(when this mortal takes on the immortal)”.‭‭ (Isaiah‬ ‭30:26‬).

     For the last two thousand years, these roots have been steadily preparing their formidable foundations. For not only will the "outside elements" be more fierce than at any other time before (tribulation), but "the harvest" will also be more plentiful than at any other time in all history. “Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when IT WAS FULL, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.” (Matthew 13:47-50). All because a single seed chose to fall to the ground and die, because unless a seed falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit. The harvest that is the end of this age, which will come to pass with the coming of the latter rain (Joel 2:28), which is the mature fruit of that seed, is the appointed time and season when all the mature fruit of that seed shall come into the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13), beginning with the first fruits of the assembly of heaven. Which is the fruit of the seed of Christ that burst open as it fell to the ground in the field of His "wise virgins". "But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect" (Hebrews 12:22-23).

     All that has been sown in the rich and fertile soil of the hearts of those who have yielded themselves fully unto the life and circumcision of God will now burst into fullness of maturity. "Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:51). Which will be the first born sons and daughters that, in turn, will help bring the remnant fruit into the fullness of Christ, which is to be "like Father like son". For has it not been said that the harvest indeed IS plentiful, but the workmen are few? (Matthew 9:37). For the last two thousand years, deep roots have been established which have set the foundation for bringing to pass the prophesy that the former glory shall not compare with the latter glory. “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty." (Haggai 2:9). Which is what from glory to glory means, being from "the former glory" to "the latter glory".

     “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth (LATTER GLORY), for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (FORMER GLORY), and the sea was no more (FALLEN MAN). And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Then he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life.” (Revelation 21:1-6).

     Which will be THAT DAY, that one fine day, that our LORD set in motion many years ago when He sowed a seed, that when the day of evil comes, so too will the day of glory, which will be THAT DAY when we are able to stand our ground, and after we have done everything, to stand (Ephesians 6:13). Which is to be entirely unshakable, unbreakable, unmovable. For on that day, we will forevermore have the whole armour of God as our daily garment. Which is THAT DAY when a seed not only does ALL that is required of it, bearing the fruit of the "100-fold kind", being the fruit that bears "the full weight" of the glory of God, but it is one that having done all, is then able TO STAND. Which is prophetically speaking of the last days church of the latter rain, that once it has accomplished all that it was called out to do, it will then, having done everything, stand, forever and eternity, as a light on a high hill that will never be hidden.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be all the honour and all the glory for ever and ever. Amen and amen.
