MY NAME IS NOT I WAS

     My name is not “I WAS”. Nor is it “I WILL BE”. But it is “I AM”. For to really know Me, you must know Me in the present. As I AM.

     For is it not written, “Unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins"? (John 8:24). And similarly also, “Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM." (John 8:58). For did I not also say unto Moses, “I AM THAT I AM”? And that Moses should say unto the children of Israel, “I AM hath sent me unto you”? (Exodus 3:14).

     Likewise, you cannot “come” to Me as I WAS or as I WILL BE, but only as I AM. And you cannot come to Me, as I AM, unless you come to Me in the present, in the now. Which requires that in order for you to come to Me as I AM, only in “the present”, by definition then, you need to come to Me “each and every day”.

     Furthermore, as the I AM, You cannot “know” Me as I AM, unless you abide in Me as I AM. Which is to abide in Me in the now, in the present, in the now of the I AM. Which is to come as you are, now. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. Which, for you, as for Me, is “as I am.” Just as I will come to you, as I AM. Which is to know Me, and My will, as I AM, today. That you may grow in “the here and the now” of My will, and my purposes, as I AM.

     For the unseen root, below the ground, of a flourishing and burnishing tree of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3), abides deep within the river of living water, only in “the now”. And, as such, it succours itself and grows only in the river of the now of the I AM.

     And what is then seen, “above the ground”, is the fruit of what takes place “below the ground” in the foundry of the I AM. Being that which digs its tent pegs in deeper and deeper still inside the fertile ground of the abiding, being in the fullness of the I AM of the now. So that, “above the ground”, out of that deep abiding, you may enlarge the place of your tent, and stretch your tent curtains wide, lengthen your cords, and not hold back. (Isaiah 54:2).

     For as I AM, My Spirit is good. And it will lead you in the way, and the truth, and the life, of the land of “uprightness”. (Psalm 143:10). Which is the kingdom of righteousness. For is it not the nature of a tree to be upright? So that because your roots are deep in the righteousness of who I AM, that as a tree of righteousness, you may grow both tall and upright. Bearing, at all times, the fruit of that righteousness. Which are the nine fruits of the Spirit. For has it not been said: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”? (Matthew 6:33). Where all these things that shall be added unto you, are all the fruits of righteousness?

     For as I AM, have I not called you deeper? And as I AM, have I likewise not called you also higher? Yet, as I AM, I know you would want to ask how it is possible to grow simultaneously deeper, and at the same time, also higher? For you would want to ask, is that even possible? But, as I AM, have I not said that in Me, all things are possible? (Matthew 19:26). For there IS a way to grow both “deeper” and “higher”, both at the same time. And that way is as “a tree”. As a living tree of the I AM.

     Which is why I AM the “Tree of Life”, and why I have called you all unto “Trees of Righteousness”. That, as I AM, you also may be. Which is to be, like Father like son.

     So, then, being like Father like son, as a righteous tree of the righteous I AM, being the great Tree of Life, we humbly ask...

“Teach me to do Your will,

For You are my God;

Your Spirit is good.

Lead me in the land of uprightness.” ‭‭

(Psalm 143:10‬)
