SUPPLY-SIDE ECONOMICS
To put the kingdom of God into a context that makes sense with what we are familiar, the kingdom of God can be seen as a market place. Whereas the market place of the world is typically characterized with conditions where you have supply-side economics and demand-side economics that are not perfect, that are not in parity, when compared with the market place of the world, the kingdom of God is the perfect market place.
In the market place of the world, you will either have a market place where there is a shortage on the supply side, or an under supply on the one hand, and a surplus on the demand side, or an over demand on the other hand. And vice versa. In other words, at all times, the market conditions are never equal. In most cases, demand often exceeds supply. Whereas the kingdom of God is the perfect market place. It’s where you have unlimited provision for an unlimited demand. There is always more than enough. “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in ALL THINGS AT ALL TIMES, having ALL that you need, you will ABOUND in every good work.” - 2 CORINTHIANS 9:8.
The kingdom of God is that place of milk and honey where His grace will always abound more (ROMANS 5:20). The sumptuous goodness of the Father heart is that the supply-side economics will always be more than sufficient for the demand-side economics. There will never be lack. It is the perfect market place, having the Garden of Eden economics. There is never lack of relationship or the Presence of God.
It is that place where we can drink our fill, and fill up our love tank through “community with the Father” and then pour out that love tank through “community with man”. It is the market place of having ALL that you need, and ALWAYS more than enough. The icon of the Cross is a living beacon to living authentically. And the place for living authentically, which is living and walking in the fullness of the second nature, is in the kingdom of God.
And for those who have been weaned from the grassroots of milk, who have grown accustomed to the abundant sustenance and rich supply that is the solid food of the Presence of the LORD, it is they who find their fill in the counsel of the Holy Spirit. It is they who have found their home in the second nature. It is they who have unlocked the Promised Land by walking through the eye of the needle that is the Cross. And having found that TRULY, the grass IS greener on the other side, it is they who hold onto this treasure above all else, and declare wholeheartedly, “Do not cast me away from Your Presence. And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.” – PSALMS 51:11
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
- 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 -
Eli, Eli, our God, our God, may Your grace abound plentifully, that as sons and daughters of God, as men and women of the King of kings and the Lord of lords, as soldiers and generals of the love of God, and servants and stewards of the Kingdom of righteousness, may we all learn to walk in the unconscious competence and deeply ingrained habit of constant communion with the Father and community with man. May the supply-side economics of the love of MATTHEW 22:37-39 be second nature to us. May the second nature become second nature to all of us! May the Kingdom nature be our daily way, our daily bread and our daily garment. This we humbly ask, with thanksgiving, in the hallowed and holy name of Christ Jesus, for all Your own, for all our own, and for all of man, amen and amen.
"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." 1 TIMOTHY 1:17
